Synopsis The gains of beef steers consuming Coastal bermudagrass varied from 0.60 pound to 2.08 pounds per day depending on the form in which the grass was fed. Pelleted Coastal bermudagrass produced gains that were not different from those produced by pelleted alfalfa.
