Synopsis Relatively early maturing dent corn hybrids from the USA and Japan were grown in Hokkaido in 1958 and 1959. Yields of grain and silage were comparable to those of northern U.S.A. Cornbelt. Response to nitrogen and interaction between hybrid and location were measured. Population, studies at two locations were reported.
