Synopsis Morphologically similar lines of Mo. 0‐205 and Clintland oat varieties derived from individual heads did not differ in yield at a single testing site or when the data from different sites were combined. Therefore, it is not necessary to select several hundred heads when repurifying an oat variety. One of 24 lines of Bonham was inferior in yielding ability.
