Synopsis Yields were significantly increased by nitrogen and manure. Residual effects from applications of nitrogen and manure were apparent for three cropping seasons. Low yields were associated with high seasonal temperatures. Coefficients of determination indicated that estimates of future forage production should be based on daily range of temperature data.
