Synopsis The minimum length of time for Jumbo Runner peanuts to produce a crop with optimum maturity under Virginia conditions was approximately 148 days, with the earliest digging date for optimum maturity being about October 15. Early planted peanuts are longer in reaching the flowering stage than later planted ones and, therefore, are slower in maturing.
