A method for testing the strength of straw, or lodging reslstance, of wheat varieties and strains has been used successfully at Texas Substation No. 6, Denton, Texas, in the past two seasons. A preliminary description of this method has been given in a previous paper,a Further simplification has been accomplished during the past season and a description of the method is herewith presented. Additional data relating to its accuracy and practicability are also given.
