Thispaperpresentsananalysisof the use of organic solvents in paint systems used in high quality treatment of car bodies in the period from 1998 to 2020. Nowadays it is possible to solve the problem of high efficiency corrosion protection and decorative and water-repellent properties of the protective layer with the help of painting systems. Paint systems include primers, putties, varnishes, paints, polishes, etc., usually from a single manufacturer.
