This article intends to compare the Treatise of the Fallacies by Peter of Spain with the treatment that Aristotle and Thomas of Aquino makes of them. At the same time, we appoint some relevant aspect of Peter of Spain’s exposition, especially in the case of the fallacy of petitio principii.
