O Povoamento Rural Islâmico no al-Andalus – Estado da investigação.

ResumoO presente artigo mostra o estado actual da investigação sobre a organização do território, em Período Medieval Muçulmano, no espaço geográfico que abrange grande parte da Península Ibérica. Pretende-se, deste modo, dar a conhecer as várias abordagens existentes dentro daquela temática, onde se insere as fortificações, os assentamentos rurais e os meios de produção, e fazer uma breve reflecção acerca das várias questões que permanecem pendentes. AbstractThis article shows the current state of the research on the organization of the territory, in the Muslim Medieval Period, in the geographical space that covers much of the Iberian Peninsula. In this way, the aim is to present the various approaches that exist within this theme, including fortifications, rural settlements and the means of production, and to reflect briefly on the various issues that remain open.
