Unlike developed countries where studies on all aspects of colorectal cancers are widely numerous, Iran as a Middle Eastern country show very few studies especially ones comparing the differences between colon and rectal cancer. In this study, firstly we report demographic, clinical and pathologic characteristics of patients with rectum and colon cancer and secondly compare these findings in order to investigate probable differences.
