This classroom action research was conducted as from February through April 2013 at GovernmentPrimary School 1, Semester 1, School Year of 2013/2014. The research subjects are the students of Grade VI. Thepurpose of the research was to improve the teaching-learning process in Mathematics. After 2 cycles, the students’learning achievement significantly improved. Based on the students’ learning activities and achievement, it wasconcluded, the cooperative instructional model Jigsaw can be used to improve the student’s achievement in Mathematicsparticularly in the topic of even numbers in Grade VI, Primary School.
