The aim of this research is to study the development of linguistic and interpersonal intelligences applying role-play method at Al-Mourky kindergarten in Gorontalo. The research was conducted qualitatively using ethnographic approach, and applying Spradley technique. Results of the research show (1) early-aged children learn through playing in accordance with their interest, needs and physical as well as mental development (2) to develop linguistic and interpersonal intelligence, the children are assigned to play the role of different people with different profession such as teacher, doctor, policeman. (3) Role play method can also enhance other multiple intelligence. The Study concludes that the role play can develop the children’s intelligence. Abstrak   Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji perkembangan linguistik dan kecerdasan interpersonal dengan mengaplikasikan metode bermain peran anak-anak usia dini di Al-Mourky Gorontalo. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan menggunakan pendekatan etnografi, dan mengaplikasikan teknik Spradley. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan (1) anak usia dini belajar  melalui permainan yang sesuai dengan keinginan, kebutuhan, dan fisik juga perkembangan mental mereka. (2) perkembangan linguistik dan kecerdasan interpersonal, anak-anak memainkan permainan bermain peran orang dengan profesi yang berbeda seperti guru, dokter, polisi. (3) metode bermain peran bisa juga memperkaya kecerdasan multiple. Penelitian menyimpulkan bermain peran bisa mengembangkan kecerdasan anak-anak.
