The most up-to-date information on the secondary prevention of eating disorders (EDs) is systematically and thoughtfully reviewed. Recommendations are given on screening and detection methods in the school population and at-risk populations; successful programs, training of professionals; referral to care and therapeutic resources; and early intervention. Also future lines are pointed out.
