The essay designates information models of texts. The formal features of basic information models – functional- stylistic and functional- semantic – are specified. Particular attention is paid at special models of professional texts of articles on library and information topics, reflecting genre, composition and content features. Stressed is an important role of information modeling for teaching professionals-non-philologists copyright skills.
