Este artigo pretende analisar a concepção do tempo histórico no Século das Luzes. A visão voltairiana do tempo da história - ou de suas várias dimensões - aparece como o elemento central da discussão. O texto pretende demonstrar que Voltaire não esboçou qualquer discussão acerca da idéia do tempo histórico, mas que, em sua obra de historiador, esta idéia está presente como uma dimensão intrincada e complexa.Abstract: this article aims to analyze the conception of the historical time in the Enlightenment. The voltairienne's vision of the time of the history - or of its severaI dimensions - appears as the central element of the discussion. The text intends to dernonstrate that Voltaire didn't sketch any discussion conceming the idea of the historical time, but that in its historian work this idea is present as a dimension confuse and complex.
