With the appearance of the first signs of aging on the face, including wrinkles, we begin to think about our external appearance in terms of its aesthetics and attractiveness. The aesthetics of the face is one of the components of health, so in the process of evaluating the aesthetics of the face it is essential not to omit a very important aspect, namely the condition of the oral cavity and teeth. Therefore, when thinking about aesthetic medicine, it is worth consulting a dentist to assess the condition of the mouth, check the muscle tone, bone health, proper occlusion, missing teeth or tooth decay. Interdisciplinary dental treatment including restorative dentistry, periodontics, dental surgery, orthodontics, prosthodontics and sometimes maxillofacial surgery can be a prelude to facial aesthetic medicine treatment. A beautiful, aesthetic smile is not only a smile without signs of aging, but especially one resulting from healthy oral cavity.
