The aim of research is to show the possibility and efficiency of conservative treatment of intestinal intussusception at the children older than 1 year because on the one hand, there is no common opinion about the tactics of treatment of this disease. On the other hand, during the period of last 10 years the number of children with intussusception has been increasing, running up to 50%. In the hospital from 1976 till 2001 there were 183 children older than 1 year with intestinal intussusception. It is 49.7% of all patients with this disease. The conservative treatment was used for 166 children with precisely determined diagnosis (97.6%). Exsanguinate method of treatment turned to be very effective at 159 patients (95.8%). The treatment failed only for 7 patients (4.2%). So, the possibility and efficiency of conservative treatment at children is demonstrated.
