Alexander S. Dogel (1852—1922) is salient Russian scientist, one of Neurohistology’s founders, the first manager of Histology’s department of Tomsk University (1888—1895), professor of medicine, Associate Member of Russian Sciences Academy, the founder of «Russian Archive of Anatomy, Histology and Embryology» journal, member of Committee of Nobel’s premium’s award. His scientific works in region of Neurohistology and sense’s organs are fundamental. Some kinds of retina neurons and vegetal ganglions are named after Dogel in the whole world.
