Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengidentifikasi emisi gas buang oksida nitrogen (NOx) dan partikulat yang dihasilkan oleh biodiesel serta menganalisis pengaruh biodiesel terhadap emisi gas buang yang dihasilkan genset di PT Adaro Indonesia. Metode analisis yang digunakan adalah Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). Variabel bebas berupa variasi bahan bakar, yaitu solar (B0) dan biodiesel dengan persentase 8,75%, 10,55%, 17,5%, dan 26,66%. Variabel terikat berupa parameter uji NOx dan partikulat. Nilai emisi gas buang tertinggi pada emisi NOx dihasilkan oleh B17,5 yaitu 995 mg/Nm3, sedangkan nilai terendah dihasilkan oleh B0, yaitu 121, 838 mg/Nm3. Nilai emisi partikulat tertinggi dihasilkan oleh B0 yaitu 91,572 mg/Nm3, sedangkan yang terendah dihasilkan B10,55, yaitu 15,5 mg/Nm3. Hasil analisis ANOVA menunjukkan bahwa terdapat pengaruh signifikan antara variasi bahan bakar terhadap nilai emisi NOx dengan nilai signifikansi berturut-turut 0,005, sedangkan partikulat tidak memiliki pengaruh signifikan antara variasi bahan bakar terhadap hasil emisi dengan nilai siginfikansi 0,218. Kata kunci: Biodiesel, emisi, gas buang.  This study aims to identify nitrogen oxide (NOx) and particulate emissions produced by biodiesel and analyze the effect of biodiesel on exhaust emissions produced by genset at PT Adaro Indonesia. The analytical method used is Analysis of Variance (ANOVA). The independent variable is fuel variation, namely diesel fuel (B0) and biodiesel with a percentage of 8.75%, 10.55%, 17.5%, and 26.66%. The dependent variable is the test parameters of NOx and particulate. The highest exhaust gas emission in NOx produced by B17.5 are and 995 mg/Nm3, while the lowest value is produced by B0, which is 121, 838 mg/Nm3. The highest particulate emission produced by B0 which is 91.572 mg/Nm3, while the lowest is produced by B10.55, which is 15.5 mg/Nm3. ANOVA analysis results show that there is a significant influence between the fuel variation on the results of NOx gas emissions with significance value of 0.005, while the particulate parameter do not have a significant effect between the fuel variation on the emissions with significance value of 0.218. Keywords: Biodiesel, emission, exhaust gas.
