This study aims to determine the potency of wood harvesting waste at the logging site of IUPHHK-HA PT. Dasa Intiga. It is estimatedthat waste utilization is based on waste dimension. This research uses wood harvesting waste material after trimming process or bucking. The samples taken are 10% of the total production target at RKT 2016 in 242 stems. The results show that the percentage of waste obtained is 14.21% consisting of 5 types of wood, namely red meranti, white meranti, keruing, lime and balau. This waste is 50 cm to 150 cm in diameter, and its length ranges from 0.9 meters to 4.7 meters. The estimated total waste utilization can be used for residential construction products (bearings, walls, horses, poles, bars, sills, rafters), and veneer products, particle board and block board.Key words : Potential; Waste timber Harvesting; waste utilization; Buildings constuructionPenelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui potensi limbah pemanenan kayu di lokasi penebangan IUPHHK-HA PT. Dasa Intiga dan memperkirakan pemanfaatan limbah berdasarkan dimensi limbah. Penelitian ini menggunakan bahan limbah pemanenan kayu setelah dilakukan proses trimming atau pembagian batang (bucking). Sampel yang diambil sebanyak 10% dari jumlah target produksi pada RKT 2016, yaitu sebanyak 242 batang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa persentase limbah yang diperoleh adalah sebesar 14.21 % yang terdiri dari5 jenis kayu yaitu meranti merah, meranti putih, keruing, kapur dan Balau. Limbah ini berdiameter 50 cm hingga 150 cm, dan panjangnya berkisar antara 0,9 meter sampai 4,7 meter.Estimasi pemanfaatan limbah, secara keseluruhan dapat digunakan untuk produk konstruksi perumahan (bantalan, dinding, kuda-kuda, tiang, palang, kusen, kaso), dan Produk veneer, partikel board dan block board.Kata kunci: Potensi, Limbah Pemanenan Kayu, pemanfaatan limbah, Konstruksi bangunan
