Increasing the Comprehension of Students Class VIII B SMPN Paringin to Novel IntrinsicElements using Make a Match Instructional Model. This Classroom Action Research(CAR) aims to improve the student learning outcome in learning material of novel intrinsicelements by using Make a Match instructional model. This study conducted in 2 cycles.Each cycle consisted of planning, action, observation, and reflection stages. The subjectswere 18 students of class VIII B SMP 3 Paringin. Research instrument in the form of awritten test instrument type multiple choice questions numbered 10 questions and nontestinstruments such as questionnaires. This research datas were analyzed by usingqualitative approach. This study concluded that, students learning mastery in increasedfron 44.5% in the cycle 1 to 88.8% after completed cycle 2.Keywords: learning mastery, novel intrinsic elements, make a matchAbstrakMeningkatkan Ketuntasan Belajar Siswa Kelas VIII B SMPN 3 Paringin.pada MateriPembelajaran Unsur Intrinsik Novel Menggunakan Model Pembelajaran Make aMatch. Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan ketuntasanbelajar siswa pada materi pembelajaran unsure-unsur intrinsic novel menggunakanmodel pembelajaran Make a Match. Penelitian dilaksanakan dalam 2 siklus, Setiapsiklus terdiri dari terdiri dari tahapan perencanaan, pelaksanaan tindakan, observasi,dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian adalah siswa kelas VIII B SMPN 3 Paringin yangberjumlah 18 siswa. Instrument penelitian berupa instrument tes tertulis tipe soal pilihanganda berjumlah 10 soal dan instrument non tes seperti angket. Data dianalisismenggunakan pendekatan kualitatif. Hasil penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa ketuntasanbelajar meningkat dari 44,5% pada siklus 1 menjadi 88,8% setelah selesai siklus 2.Kata-kata kunci: ketuntasan belajar, unsur intrinsik novel, model pembelajaran makea match
