The research objectives were to find out the suitability of the murabahah contract on home ownership financing of Bank Jatim sharia business unit. The research objects were the employees of Bank Jatim Sharia who were competent in the field of financing analyst for Griya iB Barokah KPR (public housing loan). This research used descriptive qualitative approach. The data collection was conducted by interviewing five employees of Bank Jatim sharia business unit. The results of this study was, there were four points that were used as references for conducting research, namely prices, guarantees, fines, bad financing of KPR products which in practice were in accordance with DSN-MUI fatwas.
