This paper makes a retrospect on the dialog between Freud and literature by a study of Freud’s texts in which literature is the main subject. By a distinction among the different interpretive procedures in question, highlighting his more substantial readings, we aim to reach the real function of literature in Freud’s project to found a unique knowledge about the human being.
