The article discusses the ethiology of the anxiety of children with the delay in the mental development of all types. The authors determine the relevance of the problem of anxiety in children of this category. The article describes the results of the study with a detailed calculation on the statistical criterion. The article highlighted the peculiarities of the behavior of children with anxiety during the approbation of the psychological and pedagogical program. In the article, the authors also determine the prospects for further work.
