Resumen: En este trabajo tratamos de examinar los distintos elementos que componen el atuendo de la diosa Iuno Sospita, que presenta una iconografía muy particular. El objetivo es analizar cada uno de los atributos que componen su imagen y utilizarlos como herramientas de interpretación que nos permitan ahondar en la verdadera naturaleza de la divinidad lanuvina, un tema que genera una gran controversia. Finalmente, pretendemos reflexionar sobre el carácter polisémico de estos códigos de representación visual, que pueden incorporar significados cambiantes al compás de la evolución histórica.Abstract: In this work we aim to examine the different elements that make up the attire of the goddess Iuno Sospita, which presents a very peculiar iconography. The goal is to analyse each of the attributes that comprise her image and use them as tools of interpretation that will allow us to delve into the true nature of the Lanuvian deity, an issue that generates great controversy.
