Industrias contra finezas by Agustín Moreto. History of Hungary in Moreto’s theaterIndustrias contra finezas IF is a play by Moreto written ca. 1655–1669. It was first published in 1666 and later reedited in the Segunda Parte of his comedies 1676. The play belongs to the thematic cycle entitled comedias de Hungría comedies on Hungary, made famous by Lope de Vega. In addition to being what critics have now termed a serious palatina palace comedy, IF is clearly influenced by Calderón de la Barca’s Mujer, llora y vencerás and music plays a paramount role in it.
