Unconditional Basic Income: Public Opinion Attitude and Financial and Economic Aspects of Implementation

The Main Provisions of the Article. The article deals with studing the impact of introducing unconditional basic income (hereinafter in the text of the article DB) on the level of employment, the degree of social protection, and the quality of life of the population. The theoretical part of the article analyzes the results of several opinion polls abroad and in Russiya; the possible cost and economic risks of introducing database programs in different countries are given, assessed based on the results of simulation modeling by foreign authors, database capabilities in the field of combating poverty and inequality, its effect on employment is separately considered; positive and negative aspects, contradictions and limitations of this tool are highlighted and classified; The results of the largest experimental projects at the moment are systematized and analyzed. The conclusion is drawn about the complexity of the practical application of the database concept in Russiya.
