The article deals with the scientific monograph «Middle Сlasses in the Сapitalist Russia: Scientific monograph / Author's collective; Head Scientific Editor V.N. Bobkov; Editorial collective: E.V. Odintsova (Deputy Editor-in-Chief), V.G. Kvachev, I.B. Kolmakov, V.V. Pavlova; Translators: V.G. Kvachev, M.A. Yudina; Technical Reviewer M.A. Yudina. – Moscow: KNORUS, 2018. – 208 p.». The features of theoretical, methodological and practical tools used by the authors of the reviewed monograph, its strengths and discussion points are considered. It is concluded that the groups of criteria and mechanisms for increasing the number of middle classes on the basis of multi-criteria assessment proposed by the authors of the monograph are a reliable tool for the implementation of National projects in the Rossiyskaya Federatsiya in 2018-2024.
