This article, transcript of a conference that Amador Fernández-Savater gave in June 2019 at unam, explores the strategies of tiny resistance to “a situation with no way out.” In it power is omnipresent and heroism or criticism are subsumed in the logic of the same code that produces oppression. Silence, passivity and dissimulation, explained in an ethical sense, constitute for the author the ways of surviving and resisting from powerlessness. Following this reflection, Amarela Varela Huerta offers us in her Postscript an experiential and critical reading of Fernández-Savater’s text.
