We assumed that the different exposure times of the cotton target in the water would not change the morphology and location of the shot products. To confirm our assumption, a series of experiments was carried out, which consisted in exposure of cotton targets in distilled water at different time intervals, followed by their extraction and study. The study showed that the morphology and location of the shot products on a dry target after soaking in water with a duration of up to one day does not change.
