This paper seeks to analyse the students' perception (population; 1997; sample size: 252) in three Colombian universities regarding the administrative management of the virtual distance-learning programs in which they participate. In order to reach this objective, twelve items with a four-point Likert scale were measured regarding the administrative management. In regard to the data the following tools are used: a descriptive analysis and inferential statistics; the Pearson correlation coefficient; an analysis of variance using Wilcoxon and Kruskal-Wallis tests; and a Kaiser- Meyer-Olkin multivariate factorial analysis with Varimax rotation. The results reveal that the programs have an adequate administrative management in the process of induction, training, extension, and support to the academic work. From the students' perspective, the administrative management is improved if the right technological infrastructure is promoted with the purpose of allowing the access to administrative services and to research.
