Floating omnidirectional‐view three‐dimensional (3D) display combines the characteristic of autostereoscopic and volumetric displays, and floating occlusion‐capable highly multiview display is implemented. This paper presents principle of this system and analyzes display performance. Displaying a 3D scene floating in the air is achieved and the 3D scene is touchable.
