Developing high gamma protective layer for high Xe concentration gas discharge is one of the most important way to achieve low power consumption Plasma TV. We have developed Ca x Mg 1−x O(CMO) film and related processes for high Xe content PDP. The 50 inch CMO panel shows more than 20% increase of luminous efficacy and about 10 Volts voltage reduction in minimum sustain voltage.
