A facile method to identify the moisture content in overcoat (OC) of CF is demonstrated herein. The authors provide efficient methods to lower the water percentage in OC and the possible mechanism is proposed. LCD manufacturers could thus efficiently reduce the risk of bubbles and raise yields.
