Light weight bistable cholesteric liquid crystal displays were fabricated using 100 um flexible glass as the top and bottom substrates. The flexible glass provided better registration control compared to plastic substrates previously used in the device process. A passive matrix full‐color panel using a color sharing architecture was successfully demonstrated.
