Abstract We describe ultraflexible organic integrated circuits and stretchable active matrix displays that can be bent in half without any electrical or mechanical damage. By integrating organic transistors with extreme mechanical stability, the devices represent a class of electronics, conformable/stretchable integrated circuits, for application to foldable sensors and displays.
