We propose a novel feature for flat‐panel displays; that is to allow displays to react to dynamic changes in the ambient environment around the display, especially lighting variations. A real‐time reactive rendering algorithm analyzes the ambient lighting conditions captured by multiple sensors installed on the display and transfers physical lights into on‐screen content. Real‐life action images demonstrate the uniqueness and effectiveness of our approach.
