This investigation discusses that using a LC lens which uses LC to make a gradient index (GRIN) lens to achieve a general 2D display, spatial‐multiplexed 3D display, and integral‐imaging 3D display in one display panel. Hence, this 3D technique concept could not only switch between 2D and 3D display, but it also achieves a 2‐view and super‐multi‐view 3D display.
