A Constant Work‐in‐Process (CONWIP) approach for color filter fabs was proposed to control order release and WIP level. An AutoMod simulation model was developed based on real fabs and used to evaluate CONWIP's performance. Results indicated that CONWIP can increase throughput and decrease cycle time and WIP.
