An integral imaging ( II ) display having wide viewing angle is proposed. The pitch of the elemental image is larger than that of the micro‐lens and the diagonal lines of the micro‐lens array and the elemental image array are aligned. The experimental results demonstrate that the viewing angle of the proposed II display is wider than that of the conventional II display.
