Abstract Objectionable seams created by the physical spacing between tiled displays are successfully camouflaged by modifying light emission characteristics in a region adjacent to the seams or by generating patterns coinciding with the seam's width. The composite image generated by the displays is perceived as seamless from a defined distance.
