Projected capacitive type touch sensor is getting to expand its territory from mobile applications to NBPC because of its several merits such as soft touch, multi‐touch and high transparency. An emergence of Windows 7 triggers the needs of projected capacitive touch for NBPC. LG display developed on‐cell projected capacitive type touch sensor for 13.3″ NBPC and acquired the certification of Microsoft Windows 7 logo for the first time of the world in In‐cell type touch LCD.
