Non‐sensitive to the driving voltage polarity and hysteretic free V‐ shaped electro‐optical response exhibiting characteristic switching on and switching off times τ 0.1–0.9 on ≅ τ 0.1–0.9 off ≅ 100μμs at the driving voltage amplitude less than 10V can be achieved in Deformed Helix Ferroelectric Liquid Crystal (DHF) mode. The application of this mode for new active‐matrix LCD with Field Sequential Colors (FSC) is envisaged.
