Role of reversible intermolecular bonds (RIB) in behavior of azodyes photoalignment process is investigated. Specific dependences of RIB influence on photoalignment of rod‐like dyes are revealed. Sodium and potassium salts of 5−(2−{4−[2−(3− carboxy‐4‐hydroxyphenyl)diazenyl]phenyl}diazenyl)‐2‐hydroxybenzenecarboxylic acid demonstrate pronounce difference in reorientation dynamics of photoalignment direction. Novel RIB photoalignment material is developed.
