The non‐flat TFT‐LCD technology is demonstrated in this paper. This type of displays possesses good optical properties comparable to traditional TFT‐LCDs and hence is appropriate for mobile applications. The challenges of this highly mass‐producible technology will also be discussed thoroughly in this article.
