With removing the LC panel from a conventional portable device, we proposed an innovative dual‐mode projection display system combining pico projector technology and rear display technologies, including a wedge display feature and a reflective air chamber feature, to provide switchable display modes for front, rear or front‐rear projection operations in one portable device.
