Recently, green technology becomes the key driver for future TFTLCD development. This paper focus on discussing the green technologies in TFTLCDs from green product designs, alterative processes, manufacturing and so on for green considerations. It seems that high trasmittance of a LCD cell as well as low power consideration from a system point of view, and clean process alternatives for the manufacturing are the most popular topics for green TFTLCD.
