An LED streetlight with a new efficient cooling system was developed and demonstrated. The front side of an LED streetlight with Al heatsink and with a new heat exchange system were completely sealed by the transparent plastic case and the backside by the case made from Al plate. The temperature of the metal PCB within the lamp was 61 °C and 50 °C after 4 hours of operation at room temperature, respectively. The temperature of the metal PCB with the heat exchange system was much lower than the temperature with the LED streetlight with the conventional Al heatsink.
