Cyclic block copolymer (CBC) is a fully saturated olefin block copolymer which can be melt cast into films with near zero optical retardation in both film plane and thickness direction. This nearly isotropic CBC film is particularly useful as a polarizer's inner protective layer and can offer a good wide‐viewing performance of IPS‐LCD TVs.
