The most updated investigation result of a PSS‐LCD is reported. Using conventional a‐Si TFT substrate, it turned out that even 1 kHz of frame rate is applicable to a PSS‐LCD without any image quality degradation in terms of clearness of image. This paper discusses basic performance of above results.
